Warning! This is a 100% soy wax candle, that means it might look and burn a little different than most store bought candles. You may notice some discoloration or "frosting" on the outside of the jar (see Image 1 below). This is normal and should not affect the burn quality. In-between burning sessions, you may notice the surface of your candle look a little discolored and bumpy, but this is normal!

You will want to let the surface of your candle melt the first time you light it (4-5 hours); this will prevent wax pooling on one side of the jar (see Image 2). However, if your first burn does not completely reach all edges, that is okay! (see Image 3) As you burn your candle, any wax left behind should melt down from the residual heat.
